                                                   ADOPTING AN ANGELHEART KITTEN
                                                                                            (Please read this entire page)

The moment my husband and I saw our first Ragdoll it was love at first sight, and now our Ragdoll cats have become important members of our family.  We have been breeding Ragdolls since 1998. We breed for Seal, Blue, Red, Cream, Tortie, Torbie and Lynx in all three patterns (Bi-Color, Mitted, Point).

Our cats are not caged and have full run of the house. They are given lots of love and attention and have plenty of toys and cat tree's to play and lounge around on.

The kittens are handled from birth and are lavished with love and attention from us and the other "cat moms". After the kittens are born, we spend the next three - four months raising and loving them to be                                                                         healthy, happy, well socialized kittens.

Before the kittens leave our home they will have had their first set of shots, been dewormed, spayed/neutered, and micro chipped. All our kittens have a written health guarantee. It is very hard to let them go at that point, so we want to make sure that they will be going to the best possible home where they will be given lots of love and attention and treated like a family member. We cannot have any concerns or doubts about the care the new family is going to give before these kittens leave our home.

Your kitten will give you much joy and happiness and will become a beloved member of your family.

We screen our potential kitten families very carefully. We will want to know about the type of home they will be going to and the type of care that will be provided. In our contract we have a NO DECLAW clause.  Declawing is an amputation where the toes are actually cut off at the joint, similar to a persons fingers being amputated at the first knuckle.  Kittens are trained to use a scratching post by 6 - 8 weeks old. We want to make sure that a Ragdoll cat will fit in with your lifestyle so please be prepared to answer some questions.

                                                   Questions like:
Do you have other animals, if so what kind?
Do you have any children and if yes, what are their ages?
How do you feel about declawing?
Are you looking for a specific color/pattern/gender?
Will you be providing the kitten with cat trees, toys and scratching posts?
Will the kitten have full run of the house?
Do you have a vet you feel comfortable with?
How much time will the kitten be left alone in the house?
Will you keep this kitten an indoor kitten only?
Will you feed only high quality food and treats?
Have you ever owned a kitten/cat before?
Will this kitten be treated as a family member?
Will you give this kitten proper medical care & checks ups?
Do you live in a house/apartment/condo?
Is this a commitment you & your family are going to make for the entire life of this kitten?
Do you have arrangements in place for the care of your pet if something happens to you?

A phone interview is done before I place anyone on the waiting list to make sure it's a good fit for both the kitten and the family.

We encourage prospective kitten parents to ask questions of us as well. We want to make sure you are as comfortable with us as we are with you.

Since we are a small breeder, most of our kittens are sold before they are born or shortly after. The kitten price is $1900.00 which includes the cost of altering (neuter/spay), deworming, shots, and micro chipping which is done when they are altered.  We require a $300.00 deposit to reserve a kitten. Once the kittens are born, if we do not have what you are looking for then you have the choice to wait for the next litter or receive your deposit back. Once the kittens are 6 weeks old, we set up appointments for everyone to come over and see and/or pick out their kitten. Once your kitten has been picked out, deposits are not refundable.

We email lots of pictures with updates while the kittens are growing so you will have plenty of         "baby pictures".  Each kitten leaves here with a kitten kit consisting of:                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Starter Bag of Royal Canin Hard Kitten Food & Halo Holistic Hard Food.
Stella and Chewy Freeze Dried Food (which we use as healthy treats)
Freeze Dried Chicken/Turkey Treats From Petlicious Pet Bakery                                                                                                                                                   Halo Canned food.

Bag of Worlds Best Cat Litter.
Soft handmade bed, special cat wand and toys with mom and siblings scent

After you bring your new baby home, we would like to know how he/she is doing. We would love to see pictures as they grow and hear about their life with their new family.

If there are any questions or concerns after you have your kitten, we welcome your call. Most families continue to keep in touch with us, and many have gotten a second and third kitten from us.
