Description of the Ragdoll Cat
Seal Tortie Mitted

The Ragdoll cat is a blue eyed pointed cat. The point colors are Seal, Chocolate, Blue, Lilac, Red/Flame and Cream.
Two Day Old Kittens

Ragdoll kittens are born all white and slowly develop their point color anywhere from 3 days - 2 weeks. Some colors such as Lilac, Red and Cream can take longer to develop.
Red Mitted

Ragdoll cats are a large breed. The males average 15 – 18 pounds and the females average 8 – 12 pounds. Ragdolls are a slow maturing breed. They do not reach full maturity until they are 4 – 5 years old. Their color will also continue to develop until they reach full maturity. Your Ragdoll cat will develop an abdominal fat pad. This is one of the characteristics of the breed. Do not let your vet tell you that your cat is over weight because of this.
Seal Bi-Color

Ragdoll cats have plush thick soft silky coats that can be compared to the feel of bunny fur. Ragdolls do shed just as any other cat would, but their coats are easy to maintain and require minimal grooming.
Seal Lynx Point

Ragdolls are bred to be a companion cat and have a very trusting nature and must NEVER be allowed to go outdoors unless they are strictly supervised on a harness at all times.
The Ragdoll personality is calm, gentle and affectionate, but they are also curious and playful. Each Ragdoll kitten is like a child, in that they each have their own personality.

Most Ragdolls will follow you around the house because they want to be where ever you are; they will even try to help you do what ever it is you’re doing at the time. They will be at the door waiting to greet you when you return home. Ragdolls are fun loving intelligent and easy to train.
